Seminar - Fixing our Drinking Water

The Gardens of Stone Alliance is launching its campaign to fix our drinking water, Thursday 29 October, 6pm

Sydney’s drinking water is being polluted by coal mining that is decimating the natural values of the beautiful Gardens of Stone region. [Link to RSVP is here!]

And so, the Gardens of Stone Alliance is campaigning for stronger laws to protect our drinking water and environment.

Join us for an informative webinar on 29 October from 6pm as we break down how coal mines impact our drinking water, which legal loopholes coal mine companies are exploiting, what needs to change to fix the problem and how you can get involved.

Guest speakers are:

  • Prof. Ian Wright (Western Sydney University)
  • Jasper Brown (Environmental Defender’s Office)
  • Luke Gelder (Gardens of Stone Alliance Campaigner)

The webinar will run for an hour, including a Q&A with the speakers.

Whether you are an experienced campaigner or just want to know what is going on with our drinking water, we would love to see you there!

P.S. If you can't make the event but want to get involved in the campaign let me know how you would like to help.

Kindly,
Luke Gelder
